Overview
Medical Social Worker focused on behavioral health is available for a travel assignment in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Start date 07/13/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with a daytime shift (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.). This ambulatory behavioral health setting serves adults 18+. Weekly pay ranges from $3,212 to $3,381.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments for adults with substance use disorders and dual diagnoses; develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide counseling, case management, discharge planning, and referrals to community resources; document in EPIC EMR.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support transitions across settings.
- Monitor patient progress, identify barriers to care, and advocate for continuity of services and supports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, complete required documentation, and participate in required orientations.

Requirements
- MA Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing; LCSW required; CANS certification required at time of submittal.
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred; experience with substance use disorders and dual diagnosis is highly preferred.
- Local candidates within 50 miles eligible for local rate; must be MA LCSW; must document travel experience; RTO requests must be included at submission and are not guaranteed after confirmation.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season; ability to work in a daytime, ambulatory clinic setting; 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references; 2+ years of social work experience and travel experience documented.
