Position Overview

 

The Senior Compliance Officer supports the execution and ongoing management of AutoPayPlus’ compliance program, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements.

 

This role works closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and cross-functional teams to implement compliance frameworks, support audits and monitoring activities, and help mitigate risk while enabling business operations.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Compliance Management System (CMS)
  • Monitor and interpret regulations (BSA/AML, OFAC, GLBA, UDAAP, MSB) and assist with ensuring adherence
  • Support regulatory exams, audits, and compliance reviews
  • Identify, assess, and help mitigate regulatory, operational, and reputational risk
  • Execute monitoring, testing, and reporting activities
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance policies, SOPs, and governance practices
  • Maintain risk registers, audit logs, and compliance documentation
  • Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to support compliant processes
  • Support vendor due diligence and third-party compliance oversight
  • Promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and integrity
  • Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and compliance updates for leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–8+ years of compliance experience in fintech, banking, payments, or consumer finance
  • Strong knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, GLBA, UDAAP, and MSB frameworks
  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory exams, and compliance monitoring
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret regulations and apply them in a practical business environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred:

  • CAMS, CRCM, CFE, or similar certifications
  • Experience in fintech or non-depository financial institutions
  • Experience working with compliance systems, audit logs, or LMS platforms
