Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer based in Houston, TX. The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing quality control systems, conducting quality audits, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards, and supporting quality management initiatives. Daily tasks will include monitoring manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. The role is critical in maintaining the company’s standard of excellence in product and service delivery.

Experience

  • Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control or quality inspection roles.
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical data and identify root causes of quality issues.
  • Familiarity with calibration and use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Knowledge of industry standards, including ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP is highly desirable.
  • Experience conducting quality audits and working within structured quality management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving abilities.
