Meadowview of Johnston, a Cassia community, is looking for a  Housekeeper   to join our team in Johnston, IA ! No prior senior care experience necessary !  Come and join our supportive, energetic and passionate team, where your skills will help make an impact on our community.

As a Housekeeper at Meadowview of Johnston , you will clean resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms, and other common areas, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing, and trash removal. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, open-minded, and has a genuine concern for our residents’ well-being. This is an ideal position for people who love working with others! 

 

Position Type: Part-Time, 20-24 hour a week, working a varied schedule including some weekend hours

Location: 5555 Pioneer Parkway, Johnston, IA 50131

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, restrooms, day room and dining room, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing and trash removal.  
• Launder resident and facility clothing, sheets and towels, including folding, labeling and distribution to resident rooms.
• This role will assist in all departments on an as needed basis.

Housekeeper Qualifications:

• Ability to work with a diverse population of older adults. 
• Have the ability work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.
