Job Description

This is a working foreman position - hands-on. 45+50 hours a week.

$60/hr+ based on experience. Per diem if 60+ miles from Cedar Rapids, IA. $145 on days

worked.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company/client standards. Conduct JHAs, inspections, and incident reporting.
• Technical: Apply strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards; troubleshoot issues efficiently. Use tools like Procore, BIM, and Microsoft platforms to manage work and documentation.
• Planning & Scheduling: Support project planning, maintain schedules, and coordinate a rolling 2-week lookahead with other trades.
• Resource Management: Track progress, control costs, and manage materials, equipment, and labor to avoid delays.
• Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop field teams; set clear expectations, enforce policies, and address performance or conflicts.
• Communication: Provide timely updates to team members, leadership, and stakeholders; respond to RFIs, changes, and issues.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards through regular inspections and team training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical experience or equivalent trade education and training
• OSHA 10 certification
• Active electrical license (Journeyman preferred/required based on scope)
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
