Instead of booth rental or renting a private suite, join our team at The Dog Stop ® Bucktown! We are in need of another enthusiastic groomer in search of a brand new , clean , and well run salon to accommodate your clients. 

We currently have 3 separate electric X-tables for dedicated and seasoned groomers who don't want to run the business and overhead of their own shop, taking advantage of the captive audience from our Daycare, Boarding, and Retail business.

The Dog Stop has additional staff at the ready to keep the "less profitable" work off of our Groomers' table. This includes full time employees that can handle washes, nail trims and other simple services, allowing you to focus on the most profitable portions of the business, Full Service Grooms/ Haircuts.

Grooming is offered seven days a week, and you would create your own schedule, based on your income needs.

We offer the standard market commission on all grooming services, as well as discounts on all store products and services.

Dutіеs Inсlude

• Full Service Groom / Full Service Bath / Breed Standard Cuts
• Customer relations – develop relationships with clientele and their dogs. You should be able to explain to customers the best cut/grooming option for each dog.
• Managing busy grooming schedules and communicating progress to receptionists and clients. 
• Maintaining a clean grooming room 
• Upkeep grooming tools
• Organize and update client profiles
• At least 3 years of grooming experience with a wide variety of sizes and breeds of dogs
