A leading financial services organization is seeking a Corporate Trainer to support Learning & Development initiatives across mortgage operations. This role will focus heavily on NMLS S.A.F.E. exam preparation and new hire training, while delivering engaging, effective learning experiences both in-person and virtually. salary: $36 - $38 per hour

Responsibilities
- Facilitate NMLS S.A.F.E. exam prep training and lead new hire onboarding sessions
- Deliver training on mortgage operations, loan processes, and internal systems
- Conduct instructor-led (ILT) and virtual (vILT) training sessions for small groups (~5 participants per class)
- Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to enhance training materials and learner outcomes
- Provide coaching and support to trainees, simplifying complex mortgage concepts
- Track attendance, assessments, and learner performance
- Assist with training across loan officers, post-closing, and collateral teams
- Leverage tools like Zoom, Microsoft Office, Teams, and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to improve delivery
Qualifications: - 2+ years of mortgage industry experience (Loan Officers, Post-Closing, Collateral, or similar)
- Exposure to working with or supporting loan officers strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, HR, Education, or related field)
- Corporate training experience preferred but not required
- Communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to adapt training style to different learning needs
- Experience with LMS platforms or e-learning tools is a plus
Additional Details: - Must be willing to obtain and maintain NMLS S.A.F.E. certification (if not already licensed)
- Hybrid role with regular onsite training delivery required
- Travel up to 25% (local and occasional overnight)
