Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an experienced Construction Equipment Mechanic based in Austin, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Construction Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairing heavy construction equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and conducting inspections to ensure equipment safety and efficiency. The role requires both hands-on technical work at the company’s facilities and occasional remote coordination and documentation efforts.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently and meets safety standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Equipment Repair and Heavy Equipment servicing, including familiarity with a variety of construction equipment models.
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills related to identifying and addressing mechanical and technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Physical ability to work in a hands-on garage or field environment, including lifting heavy objects up to industry standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in equipment repair is preferred.
  • Experience working in the construction equipment industry or a similar field is a plus.
