Job Description

We are looking for a Bookkeeper to handle our day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and general bookkeeping functions. The ideal candidate is a proactive "go-getter" who can balance being firm yet professional with collections and vendor relations, with a drive to get the job done right.

salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Core Bookkeeping: Manage daily accounts, bank reconciliations, and financial data entry utilizing QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft 365.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) & Collections: Manage 25 to 50 invoices per day (fluctuates seasonally). Follow up politely but firmly on outstanding balances and payment collections.
• Shipping & Logistics Verification: Review daily incoming/outgoing shipments, verify reasons for any discrepancies, check for Proof of Deliveries (PODs), and coordinate directly with carriers like UPS and FedEx.
• Office Collaboration: Work closely with a small office team of 5 and report directly to the owners, Kevin and Steven.
